This political satire tee was inspired by the viral Hawks vs. Hawkeyes moment from the September 2026 Senate Judiciary Committee hearing involving former Special Counsel Jack Smith. What started as a serious line of questioning about whether Smith had attended an Atlanta Hawks game took an unexpected turn when the basketball game in question turned out to involve the Iowa Hawkeyes. And thus, at least in the world of political satire, the ATLANTA HAWKEYES were born.
